Y Bocs Jin which translates to ‘The Gin Box’ is a bespoke mobile gin bar for all events and special occasions.
Our beautifully converted Rice Beaufort Horsebox was created by Owen and Katy with the unconditional help of family and friends. This beautifully restored horsebox has been adapted to the highest standard and is fully stocked with a selection alcoholic drinks including the finest hand picked gins, locally distilled from across Wales and United Kingdom.

First of all, congratulations on your engagement! Organising the big day requires a lot of planning and preparation and can be a stressful experience. One of the most important things is for you and
your guests to have a good time, and where better to guarantee this than the centre piece to any wedding party; the bar!
We believe that your special day deserves only the best. Y bocs Jin is a fully licensed bar equipped to provide your guests specialist gins, prosecco, cocktails and bottled beers and ciders. We work closely with you to ensure you have a drinks line up tailored to you and your wedding guests.
To avoid any unnecessary stress we keep a simple booking system with a standard booking fee, starting from £150. This booking fee includes a TEN (temporary event notice), travel costs, 3 professional members of staff, full hire for the duration of the event and disposable glassware, straws and napkins.
Guest Bar
The bar will run as a normal cash
or card bar, with drinks being paid
for by your guests. You could also
add one of our wedding or party
packages, offering your guests a
welcome drink on you.
Open Bar
You can put a set amount of
money behind the bar, meaning
drinks can be served at no cost to
your guests. You can pay as much
or as little as you like before hand
or an invoice will be sent to you
afterwards. We will continue
serving drinks until the price limit
has been reached. At this point,
we will turn into a cash/card bar.
Dry Bar
Hire our mobile horsebox bar as a
feature, fully equipped and ready
for service. This means that you
can hire Y Bocs Jin and we will
serve the drinks supplied from
your venue, cutting the costs of
corkage.

Welsh Dry Gin / Jin Sych Cymreig
Our gin begins by adding the botanicals to the base spirit. This spirit is a fermented alcohol, made of grain, with no additional flavour. This grain alcohol is re-distilled with only natural botanicals.
Apart from water and ethanol, the only other raw materials used to distill our gin are natural flavourings referred to as botanicals. Our predominant flavour is juniper; this is especially true for the London Dry gins.
The juniper in our gin is complemented by other carefully chosen botanicals; elderberries, elderflower, orange peel, rosemary, coriander seeds and ginger. Ethanol draws many different oils out of the cells of these botanicals to create the unique smooth taste of our hand crafted Welsh Gin.
